Rowing Queensland is excited to announce an U17 & U19 Beach Sprint Talent Identification (TID) Session.
This session is designed to introduce athletes to the unique skills of beach sprint rowing and will guide them through Rowing Australia's official TID protocol.
We are pleased to welcome the Rowing Australia Beach Sprint Head Coach to Brisbane on Tuesday 23 September 2025, (venue to be advised) where selected Queensland athletes will take part in skill development and beach familiarisation activities. The session will be led by the Rowing Australia Head Coach and supported by current members of the Australian Beach Rowing Team, providing a valuable opportunity for peer learning and performance benchmarking.
Athletes who perform strongly during the TID assessments will be invited to a National Performance Pathway Camp in December 2025 (Sydney).
This camp will feature advanced testing and development activities, and will play a key role in identifying the targeted squad for selection towards the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
To nominate your interest, please complete the survey, providing your most recent 2km and 500m ergo.
Nominations close 31 July 2025.
