By paying these fees, participants, clubs, and organisations contribute directly to the maintenance, improvement, and successful organisation of rowing events and facilities. These fees play a vital role in sustaining the rowing community, enabling the provision of high-quality facilities and well-organised regattas for rowers and supporters.

  1. Facility Costs: This cost contributes to the general maintenance and upkeep of the QSRC. It includes expenses related to cleaning, landscaping, facility repairs, boat maintenance, waste and septic services and general amenities to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for rowers and visitors.
  2. QSRC Infrastructure Levy: The Infrastructure Levy supports the development and improvement of rowing infrastructure. These funds are used for capital projects such as maintaining and replacing bouys on the course, upgrading existing infrastructure such as pumps, ramps, shoreline, purchasing equipment for use at regattas, and enhancing safety measures within the rowing environment.
  3. Half Day Exclusive Use: This fee covers the exclusive use of the rowing facility for a half-day period. It covers the costs associated with reserving the venue, providing a Safety Officer / Event Coordinator and any additional resources required to manage the facility exclusively for the specified duration.
  4. Regatta Administration: The Regatta Administration Fee covers the administrative costs associated with organising rowing regattas. This includes expenses related to event planning, coordination, communication with participants, invoicing, membership and regatta management. It ensures the smooth execution of regattas, from planning to results publication.
  5. Insurance, Safety Management, Compliance: The cost for Insurance, Safety Management, and Compliance is designed to cover the costs associated with providing comprehensive insurance coverage, ensuring the protection of participants, public, and the event itself. Additionally, the fee contributes to robust safety management protocols and compliance measures, guaranteeing a secure and regulatory-compliant environment for all involved in the rowing event.
  6. In addition to this costs associate with medical services, audio visual and traffic control specific to each event may include an additional charge.
