BOOKING TRAILER SPACE
We are looking forward to heading to Tasmania for the 2026 Australian Rowing Championships
Please find following information on how to book trailer space on the Spirit of Tasmania, we have reserved space, however this is limited and is spread across a number of sailings.
We recommend that clubs and schools book as early as possible to reserve space before it does run out

· When booking/amending via this page, members will have access to the best available fares on their chosen sailing dates.
- All passenger, accommodation and vehicle space is subject to availability at time of booking/amending.
- Please keep in mind our fares do fluctuate and are subject to change until payment has been made and a booking number and e-ticket provided.
- Alternatively availability and bookings can be requested via our Customer Contact Centre on 132010
- Please note booking and amendment fees do apply to non-internet bookings.
- Bookings for this event are valid for travel between 23/02/2026 and 29/04/2026
- Limited car/passenger space have been protected for:
- Depart Geelong on 18-24/03/2026 inclusive – AM departures only and departures
- Depart Devonport on 29/03 – 07/04/2026 inclusive – AM & PM departures
- Protected space for vehicles is based on vehicles towed units 19 metres long and over 2.1 metres high. Alternative vehicle dimensions will be subject to availability at time of booking. Protected space will be held until cob 08/12/2025 or until sold out. However protected space may be reviewed prior to this date and adjusted to match member interest and bookings to-date.
- When booking via the Exclusive Members Page, the following fare types will be offered (subject to availability):-

· Aus Rowing Champ (Flexi)
- If the name of our event is not included in the fare type name, this indicates you may have left the Exclusive Members Page booking platform and may need to re-check before proceeding.
All vehicles and trailers are measured including all over hang off the back of the trailer. Under measured bookings may be refused boarding.

SESF Scholarships for 2025 – Now Open
The Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF) supports emerging athletes aged 10–18 who are experiencing financial hardship and have been selected to represent their state or Australia at a National or International Championship in an ASC-recognised sport.
Each successful applicant receives a $1,000 scholarship and must submit photos, videos, and a testimonial about their experience.
📌 Eligibility includes:

Aged 10–18 and enrolled in an Australian school

Australian citizen or permanent resident
-
Selected for state or national rep honours (not school or club level)

Competing in a recognised national-level event
-
Experiencing genuine financial hardship
Applications must be endorsed by your school principal and submitted at least 3 weeks before your event. Only one scholarship per year may be awarded per athlete.

Local Sporting Champions Grants – Now Open
The Local Sporting Champions (LSC) program offers financial support to athletes, coaches, and officials aged 12–18 who are participating in state, national, or international championships.
Eligible applicants can receive $500 to $750, depending on travel distance and location:

Base grant: $500
-
+ $100 for travel between 800–1999km

+ $200 for travel over 2000km or international

+ $50 for applicants from rural electorates
