Queensland Takes Second in 2010 Interstate Regatta

Queensland has come 2nd overall in the race for the Rowing Australia Cup for Overall Points at the Interstate Regatta for the third year in a row, as Pippa Savage won her third Nell Slatter Trophy and the QLD Women's Youth Eight won it's third Bicenntenial Cup in a row.  For more click here.

Stuartholme Rowing - Coaching Positions Available

The Stuartholme School Rowing Program is currently seeking coaches to fill positions in the Year 8 age group.  The rowing season runs from April to August.  The Year 8s train two afternoons per week and on Saturday mornings.  Year 8s also attend rowing camp (in June) and race at regattas (July/August).

If you have experience coaching rowers or a rowing background, you may be just what the newest members of the club need, to introduce them to the world of rowing.  You should have, or be willing to obtain, a boat licence and Working with Children Blue Card.

All Stuartholme Rowing Coach positions are paid, based on level of experience.  For further information please email Robert Lester - rlester@stuartholme.com

This code of conduct has been adopted to provide guidance on several aspects of the safe on-water conduct of passive craft including general rules of the river, interacting with other vessels, adapting to environmental factors, participant safety and incident reporting.
