Coxswain Wanted - Vintage Vikings Rowing Club

Male Masters crew require a coxswain, maximum 3 sessions per week.
Tuesdays, Thursdays (5.30 am until 7.00 am)and Saturdays 7.00 am until 9.00am.

Rowing Australia Supporters Tours 2010

Rowing Australia, through its official travel managment company, is offering all inclusive Supporters Tours to all 2010 events including the 2010 World Championships in Lake Karapiro, New Zealand. Read More.


Club Rowing at National Championships  

Rowing Australia is pleased to announce the introduction of two new ‘Club Events’ to the program for the 2010 National Championships in Nagambie. Clubs will be able to enter crews to compete in the Men’s & Women’s Double Scull and Men’s and Women’s Coxless Four. These events have strict qualification criteria to ensure that only club rowers can compete in this category. For more information click here.

The athlete ‘qualification’ rules for entry in these new events are:

i. No ‘composite’ crews between Clubs allowed
ii. During the current and previous year, athletes are not eligible if they have been a member of either the National Senior A or National Under 23 Team.
iii. No athlete shall be a member of a current State ‘Senior’ Team
iv. No athlete shall be nominating for National Selection in the year of competition.

Maritime Safety Queensland - Code of Conduct

This code of conduct has been adopted to provide guidance on several aspects of the safe on-water conduct of passive craft including general rules of the river, interacting with other vessels, adapting to environmental factors, participant safety and incident reporting.
