ACTIVE INDUSTRY BASED FUND PROJECT

BoatUp: Powering crews with the Active Industry Based Fund

 

Thanks to the generous support of the Queensland State Government's Active Industry Based Funding, Rowing Queensland is proud to announce that we will be funding 50% of a Boat Licence for up to 20 Queensland Club members of Affiliated Rowing Queensland Clubs up until 30 June 2024.

 

Here's how it works:

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Coaching: Individuals must commit to actively coaching crews within their Club for a minimum of 12 months and hold, or be willing to gain (*CoachUp project) a Level 1 or level 2 certification in coaching.
  • Officiating: Individuals must commit to actively officiate at Rowing Queensland events for a minimum of 12 months and hold or be training as a Level 1 BRO.

 

Nomination Process:

  • Each Club is eligible to nominate one person to undertake this qualification.
  • Additional candidates may be nominated on a first-come, first-served basis, if other Clubs do not uptake the offer.
