2026 Youth Olympic Games, Dakar

Rowing Australia has been granted a male and female rower quota for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, Dakar, Senegal, 31 October - 14 November 2026.

The Australian Youth Olympic Games team is an Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) team and is structured in the same way as the Olympic Team.
Rowing Australia nominate athletes and coaches to the AOC.

This Beach Sprint opportunity is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are eager to have our rowers make the most of it.

Eligible rowers must be born on or after 14 November 2008.

Selection of one male and one female will be based on performance at a dedicated event at the Beach Sprint Australian Rowing Championships 3 - 6 September 2026, Gold Coast, QLD with the highest-ranked nominated candidates being selected.
