Lake Kawana is the only 2000m fully buoyed rowing course in South East Queensland. As such it holds a vital place in the structure of Rowing QLD and is the most used rowing regatta venue in Queensland, hosting GPS and BSRA Regattas in addition to local Sunshine Coast club regattas and regularly holding the South Queensland Schools Championships and the Queensland Masters Championships regattas.
