The 2011 Inter-regional Championships will be held at the Fitzroy River, Rockhampton during the Queensland Schools Championships on Saturday 17th September 2011. Each region will select the top four scullers and a coxswain for both male and female divisions in the Under 16 and Open categories (total team size of 24ppl including coaches).
The Inter-Regional Championships will be the last four races of the Queensland Schools Championships on the Saturday afternoon; each division (U16 & Open) will compete in the coxed quadruple sculls against the following eight Queensland regions:
- Cairns/ Innisfail
- Townsville
- Mackay
- Rockhampton
- Bundaberg
- Sunshine Coast
- Brisbane
- Gold Coast
