Brisbane & GPS Rowing Club
The Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club has a proud tradition of rowing on the Brisbane River and today operates programs for Learn to Row, Juniors, Elite, Recreational and Masters. New members are welcome to the club. Simply contact us or visit the boat shed on the first Saturday morning of each month around 7.00am.
Over many years the club has continued to develop competitive crews at the highest level, winning a series of national championships and producing international representatives Bob and Wendy Alexander, Toby Roberts, Kirsty Harris, Carlie Blake-Stein and Suzanne Brown. The introduction of both the popular learn-to-row programme and the recreational stream has ensured steady growth in membership and facilities. Today the Brisbane & GPS Rowing Club stands poised to expand further for elite, recreational, junior and veteran rowing.
